Augustana is a University of Alberta campus nestled slightly off the beaten path, in the small and inviting city of Camrose. At our campus, you will find your community and your purpose — all while earning a University of Alberta degree.

Education Unlimited is participating in a pilot project with the Augustana Campus of the University of Alberta to make admissions for home educated students easier. Education Unlimited students can apply (as part of the pilot project) for the following programs at Augustana: Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Music Bachelor of Education (Elementary) 2+2 Below is an outline of requirements for Education Unlimited Academy learners: 1. Presentation of Education Unlimited Academy transcript with grade 12 equivalent courses in the following disciplines: English, Math, and Social Studies. Minimum average of these discipline specific courses - 80% (alpha grade of A). If an Augustana program doesn't require Math as an admission requirement, then Education Unlimited students could either present English, Math, Social Studies, OR English, and 2 Social Studies courses. 2. Presentation of either ENG 102 from Augustana, OR ENGL 212 or ENGL 255 from Athabasca University. The student would apply through ApplyAlberta and of course would not have an Alberta Education transcript so this can be left blank. Their Education Unlimited transcript can be sent to transcripts@ualberta.ca. Please note that Final Official transcripts need to come from Education Unlimited directly to the email address provided, as opposed to the student sending it.
