Post-Secondary
Education Unlimited knows that post-secondary education is a big concern for most parents, but especially to parents educating their children outside the prescribed provincial programming. Most parents find that following provincial curricula becomes burdensome since it has been designed for a school setting. Home educated students not following provincial programming present a challenge for post-secondary institutions in that standard admission criteria do not apply. Léo Gaumont, the co-founder and director of Education Unlimited has worked tirelessly to facilitate the admission of home educated students into institutions of higher learning across Canada.
Education Unlimited's director is a leader in post-secondary home education admissions know-how.

Research History
Education Unlimited's Léo Gaumont has been involved in researching post-secondary admission policy for many years and is actively promoting alternative admission criteria for home educated students. His work started in 1996 when he experienced difficulties with the admission of his non-accredited home educated daughter. He conducted his first survey in 1997 where he discovered the need for home-school advocacy. With the cooperation of the Home School Legal Defense Association of Canada (HSLDA), he conducted a National Survey of Post-Secondary Institutions on Entrance Requirements for home educated Students from 1999-2001. This study led to an invitation to address the Association of Registrars of Universities and Colleges of Canada (ARUCC) in 2002 on the topic of home education admissions (ARUCC Presentation). Léo's latest research involves an extensive survey of every post-secondary institution in each province, starting with the Province of Alberta (See Alberta Post-Secondary Survey Results (2004)), with the objective of linking each province to a web site that will provide home educated students with a single site for post-secondary evaluation.
Education Unlimited believes that true leadership results in influencing positive changes for home education.
