Home Education Admission Policy/Process/Procedure

NAIT welcomes home schooled applicants, recognizing that diverse educational models are available today. Home schooled applicants must complete an application to NAIT to be considered for admission. They may include the usual prerequisites as required on the NAIT website, a combination of prerequisites and a portfolio or a stand-alone portfolio. NAIT staff will consider all submitted documents and will determine whether or not the applicant may be admitted to the program of choice. NAIT may require testing to determine that the applicant does have the skills to succeed at their program of choice or may offer upgrading alternatives.
