Directives are intended for students who lack Alberta Programs of Study Accreditation and serve only as guidelines when seeking or preparing for admission equivalents (alternatives) to Alberta 30 level requirements.

MacEwan University's policy on admission requires that all applicants meet individual program admission requirements. There are no special provisions for home educated students at this time. Therefore, home educated applicants will be required to write Alberta Education diploma examinations where necessary or, where accepted by the institution, substitute post-secondary equivalents.
