Home Education Admission Policy/Process/Procedure
Please Note:
Directives are intended for students who lack Alberta Programs of Study Accreditation and serve only as guidelines when seeking or preparing for admission equivalents (alternatives) to Alberta 30 level requirements.
Specific admission requirements vary with programs.
Home Schooling or Home Education
If you have completed a Home Schooling or Home Education program you may qualify for admission by providing relevant provincial diploma examination. We encourage all home schooled applicants to connect with us directly by calling for an academic adviser appointment.
A creative way we have had many homeschool applicants enter the College is as a "special student" which has open admission to a single course, complete a University-level English course (eg. ENGL 252, ENGL 203) and gain admission to a number of our programs.
