Mount Carmel is about everyday Christian faith. Our focus is on helping people connect their faith in Jesus to the normal events and relationships of their lives. Our unique one-year program mixes college level learning with hands on service and deep community designed to help bring faith to life.

Home Education Admission Policy/Process/Procedure
Please Note:
Directives are intended for students who lack Alberta Programs of Study Accreditation and serve only as guidelines when seeking or preparing for admission equivalents (alternatives) to Alberta 30 level requirements.
Specific admission requirements vary with programs.
We regularly have home schooled students attending our college. Applicants to Mount Carmel must have a high school diploma, be able to submit evidence of academic achievement in the form of a General Educational Development (GED) certificate, or provide an equivalent assessment such as an SAT. Mature applicants (over 21) without a high school diploma may be accepted with a sufficient academic and/or career background, subject to the approval of the registrar.
