Home Education Admission Policy/Process/Procedure
Directives are intended for students who lack Alberta Programs of Study Accreditation and serve only as guidelines when seeking or preparing for admission equivalents (alternatives) to Alberta 30 level requirements.
Specific admission requirements vary with programs.
We regularly have home schooled students attending our college. Applicants to Mount Carmel must have a high school diploma, be able to submit evidence of academic achievement in the form of a General Educational Development (GED) certificate, or provide an equivalent assessment such as an SAT. Mature applicants (over 21) without a high school diploma may be accepted with a sufficient academic and/or career background, subject to the approval of the registrar. Please contact the office for further details.
Now accepting students for the 2020-21 school year! Spend 8 months in an intentional mentorship program to discover more of who God is, who you are, and how you are designed to live in the world around you.
To experience a day in the life of a Mount Carmel student, join us at one of our Open Houses: November 13, February 3, or April 3. Details about the day can be found on our website.
