Home Education Admission Policy/Process/Procedure
Directives are intended for students who lack Alberta Programs of Study Accreditation and serve only as guidelines when seeking or preparing for admission equivalents (alternatives) to Alberta 30 level requirements.
Specific admission requirements vary with programs.
- Profession of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, and evidence of a born-again experience
- Consistency in Christian living and a commitment to spiritual growth
- Graduation from high school (exception: mature individuals who are clearly purposeful toward their training at NBC). Home School students will be asked to demonstrate grade 12 equivalency by providing a transcript which indicates course names, shows credits and grades attained, and names the curriculum that was used
NBC hosts Campus Days at least 2 times each College year. Anyone in Grade 11, 12, or recent grads can come see what it's like to be a student here. You'll spend overnight in the dorm, take in classes & chapel, and meet our students & staff. The next scheduled Campus Days event is March 24-25, 2019.
