Policy Description Vancouver Animation School is committed to enrolling students who meet all of its program admission criteria. The school maintains an open admissions policy and founded with the vision to welcome all students interested in being part of the digital media industry. We encourage all students to apply. Vancouver Animation School empowers the artists to empower their art. Admissions Requirements Admission requirements are per program. Students must consult study the admissions requirements from the program they are planning to enrol. Students must meet the admission requirements minimum criteria in order to obtain the right of entry into their program of study. Language Proficiency Assessment Policy Instruction at Vancouver Animation School is conducted in English. Students whose first language is not the language of instruction are required to undergo a Language Proficiency Assessment prior to enrolment in order to ensure they have the language abilities necessary to successfully complete the program of their choice. Language proficiency requirements are admission requirements and may not be waived by either the institution or the student. One of the following are accepted: For Diploma Programs Age - High school graduate (with transcript), or 19 years of age or older Assessment Test - Successfully pass a general assessment test that includes a computer knowledge assessment, Internet knowledge assessment, English reading and writing skills assessment. https://www.vanas.ca/apply-now Portfolio - If no portfolio is submitted, the student must successfully pass the corresponding Introductory course. English Proficiency - International students with English as a second language must demonstrate a good oral and written level of English.
