Canadian Baptist Theological Seminary & College is located in the beautiful foothills of Cochrane and our purpose is to train leaders for tough places. We are enthusiastic about accepting home educated high school graduates into our college!

Home Education Admission Policy/Process/Procedure
Please Note:
Directives are intended for students who lack Alberta Programs of Study Accreditation and serve only as guidelines when seeking or preparing for admission equivalents (alternatives) to Alberta 30 level requirements.
Specific admission requirements vary with programs.
We are happy to provide a number of academic transcript options for home educated students that wish to study with us. The academic transcript options are as follows:
Option 1
• An official transcript from your provincial Department of Education showing proof of the required Grade 12 courses
Option 2
• An official letter from your homeschooling board verifying your Grade 12 program
• A portfolio including a list of high school subjects completed, writing samples, as well as work and volunteer experience
Option 3
• An official letter from your homeschooling board verifying your Grade 12 program
• An official SAT transcript showing a minimum SAT Reasoning Test score with 1400 or higher on three sections of Critical Reading, Mathematics, and Writing with no section test below 400.
We are also able to accept a GED test score for a student's academic requirement.
