Home Education Admission Policy/Process/Procedure

Please Note: Directives are intended for students who lack Alberta Programs of Study Accreditation and serve only as guidelines when seeking or preparing for admission equivalents (alternatives) to Alberta 30 level requirements.
Specific admission requirements vary with programs.

Undergraduate students may apply for admission to programs or register in courses year-round and can start most courses on the first day of any month. Anyone 16 years or older is eligible for admission (some programs and courses may have academic or geographic restrictions). To apply, students must complete a General Application Form and submit it along with the application fee. Application forms are available in the academic calendar and on the AU website and students may apply online, by fax, or by mail.
