Home Education Admission Policy/Process/Procedure
Please Note:
Directives are intended for students who lack Alberta Programs of Study Accreditation and serve only as guidelines when seeking or preparing for admission equivalents (alternatives) to Alberta 30 level requirements.
Specific admission requirements vary with programs.
RMC is home school friendly in that we have created a simple and straight forward ways to assist all home school students to apply. Home schooled students who have completed high school, but who do not have provincial confirmation of completion, will be considered for admission on academic probation for the first semester. What is needed in place of the provincial confirmation of completion is: A letter of recommendation from a qualified educator (where possible), a portfolio of work competed to demonstrated a level of learning commensurate with high school graduation and a record/transcript of the student’s high school work (where possible) should accompany the application to RMC.
